With the entry of the two Stylist Directors, Mr. Raffaele Petruzzelli and Mr. Michele Mastrapasqua, both teachers at the Design European Institute (IED), MPF Group S.p.A. faces a new challenge. At the same time it also aims at discovering and motivating new creative talents by founding the “Zoppini Design Award” for the creation of one male and one female collection, both in s. steel, 5 pieces each. The three winners will be given money prizes and above all, the creations in first place will be produced and launched by MPF Group in 2010\11.

From March 8th , attached to the magazine “Maxim”, the 2009 calendar with Salvatore and Cristiano Angelucci, as exceptional models for the Zoppini jewels, will be on sale. The images are by Stefano Bidini and the location is Casal di Principe, by now well-known only for the Italian movie “Gomorra”, which could represent only the most negative aspects of this place. On the contrary, like most of the Italian territory, it still has much more to offer and be discovered. For the first time, a new different perspective can be shown through this calendar. Our staff has told us about the enthusiasm and welcome they have been receiving from local people, during the making of the calendar. The images testify the laboriousness of this sunny and ambitious people, so anxious to express their capabilities, but more often depicted only in dark colors.
After “American Dreams”, it deals with the second Zoppini-Maxim calendar, aiming at the combination of a commercial and social activity. After the launch in Milan, will follow several events around Italy, with a privileged one at the Zoppini Store in Florence.

February 17th 2009 During the Fashion Week in Milan (February 24th – March 4th ), the Italian Association, “Tesoro nel campo”, founded by the actor Luca Calvani, very sensitive towards pro-children projects, organized a fundraising event. The mission is to support the maintenance of the orphanage in Timboni, in Kenya. It deals with a “Charity Temporary Shop”, prepared in partnership with BlackBerry, where you could buy branded clothes and accessories, donated by famous actors, showmen, singers and fashion stylists; like the Versace suit, wore by Patrick Dempsey in a “Grey's Anatomy” episode, the Christian Dior gown, wore by Jane Alexander at the last Venetian Festival and the Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses, wore by Alessandro Gassman.
Zoppini will give its contribution with a special production for the Pearl BlackBerry: a precious case in s. steel with Swarowsky crystals and genuine python leather inserts.
On 24th , at 6.30 p.m., Luca Calvani and Jane Alexander will also be attending the event.

A.T.T., the Tuscan Cancer Association, would like to thank MPF Group S.p.A. for its contribution to the last fundraising event, by means of a jewels donation. All proceeds amount to € 51.000.

After perpetual research, the existence of the G Point has finally been certified. A pool of distinguished scientists has determined that the site of pleasure exactly lies inside the first Zoppini Store in Florence!
On Friday, February 13th 2009, on an already quite fortuitous day, a few selected guests could participate in the tasting of the "magic" chocolate by Andrea Bianchini, “the best Italian chocolate maker in 2008”, in partnership with POM613.com. The G Point exists and is to be found in the unfailing combination of chocolate and jewellery ... because the wish to like and satisfy oneself and each other stimulates creativity and leads everyone to look for one’s fulfilment by gratification and sensoriality.

From the cooperation between MPF Group leading brand Zoppini and Maxim, a magazine of international importance, derives an exciting co-marketing activity: two 2009 Zoppini-Maxim calendars of great topical interest and fashion appeal with actual spokespersons dressing our jewellery in an unconventional contest. “American Dream” is the first calendar, inspired by 2009 US Presidential Elections and performed by two beautiful TV protagonists: the blond Emanuela Postacchini and the dark Inna Meremerenko. The launch of the second calendar is expected on Women’s international Day, March 8th 2009, and will illustrate another very topical subject.

MPF Group S.p.A. has presented the inedited pictures of the Zoppini-Maxim calendar at the disco “Yab” in Florence. The two beautiful models of the calendar, Inna Meremerenko and Emanuela Postacchini, and the popular showman and fashion consultant, Raffaello Tonon, attended the event.

Zoppini Store reaches the highest expression of its concept, following the previous openings of 35 points of sale all around the world. Special Guests: international journalists and PR, local authorities, the two models of the Zoppini-Maxim calendar, Katia Pedrotti, Ascanio Pacelli and Raffaello Tonon.
